Wedding parties are supposed to last until the
early hours of Sunday morning — or later.
I was once at a wedding until after seven in
the morning, and seven is not "the early
hours."
Because it's a slide show, this
page is over 400
kilobytes large. Please be patient.
The pictures will begin rolling
over automatically.
Really —
it's worth the wait. As Kinga
says, at four, the party really
began blossoming.
Warto poczekać, to co się działo
o 4 nad ranem to kwintesencja
tego wesela. |
| Suggested soundtrack
for the slideshow: Boston "Long
Time" (without the "Foreplay"
instrumental introduction —
around 2:30 playing time, Dave). |
The one thing everyone wishes for at their own
wedding is that it, indeed, last as long as
possible. This means of course that the guests
are having such a good time that they'd
rather stay than go sleep.
Our wedding, thanks to the wonderful, energetic
guests we had, was just such a party.

I took the photos that make up the
slide show at right at around four in the morning.
The camera man had left; Marcin, the photographer,
had left; the majority of the guests had left
— but the party went on.
(View a rather special
picture of Dave at 4 a.m. — password
of sorts required)
We finally left some time after five. We were
left with tired feet, buzzing brains, and a
lot of people
to thank. |
